Chetana is run on donations from interested individuals, groups and charitable organizations.
Donations to “Seva Bharathi”, Mangalore, are entitled to tax concessions under Section 80 (G) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Seva Bharathi is also registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act. To avail Income tax benifits all cheques must be drawn in the name of Seva Bharathi.
