Chetana (a project of Seva Bharathi) is a developmental centre for the challenged providing therapeutic and educational services encompassing early intervention, academic and non-formal education, pre-vocational training, vocational training and respite care to children, young adults and adults with Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome, Autism, Severe Learning Challenges, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and other Developmental Challenges .
CHETANA is a day-centre programme and has 63 students attending school five days
a week from 9:30a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
SEVA BHARATHI, a non-profit, voluntary service organization registered under the Trust Act (Reg. No. 119 dated 15.1.1993), is involved in a number of activities to help people in distress including:
Chetana, a training centre for the developmentally challenged
Asha Jyothi, a recreation club for the disabled & forum for care-givers
Intervention and support for children with Learning Challenges
Weekly medical camps providing diagnosis and treatment free of cost
Organising voluntary blood donation camps and providing blood and blood products to children with Thalassaemia & Haemophilia
Providing aids and appliances to the chronically ill/temporarily disabled through our Medical Equipment Bank
